Continuous Casting

Continuous casting, sometimes called strand casting, is a process used in manufacturing industry to cast a continuous length of metal. If an inner shape is also desired, the material may flow around a mandrel to create that profile. These processes are the most efficient way to solidify large volumes of metal into simple shapes for subsequent processing.
