Product description
The PROTEX-E range of single face metal detectors is used to inspect web, woven or sheet materials (needle-punched nonwovens, felts, woven and tufted carpets etc) between 1 and 4 metres wide.
PROTEX-E systems are equipped with multi-channel metal detectors and detect all magnetic and non-magnetic metals (steel, stainless steel, aluminium etc). They provide outstanding detection results, even if the gap between product and sensor surface is quite large. The sensor area is divided into segments which are 256mm wide. If metal is detected a signal can be sent to the process controller, or a marking device or cut-off equipment can be activated. Also available is the option to highlight the segment containing the metal with an LED.
