ApplicationJQL-100/5 Type Continuous Lead Extruder is designed to meet the increasing demand of electrical wire and cable industry. It is used to sheath lead cover on the electrical wire and cable.
This machine realizes continuous extruding through lead transporting by rotating screw rod. Thickness of lead layer can be adjusted, and it uses PLC full digital to control and indicate. Preset each part's temperature to control each part's temperature strictly, and make the rotation speed of DC motor constant. In this way, it ensures that the leading main machine works under the constant temperature, constant speed and constant pressure, then make sure the thickness of sheathing layer is equal and continuous. In this way, about 10% lead consumption can be saved comparing to the lead consumption of intermittent type lead extruder which is domestically used at present.
Because lead melting temperature is low, melting furnace, purifying holding furnace and lead conveying adopt seal system. This reduces lead vapor diffusing heavily, eliminate environment contamination basically.
2. Features of Equipment Extruding main machine works under constant temperature, constant speed and constant pressure. Thickness of sheathing lead layer is equal, continuous and adjustable with high efficiency and low cost. Lead melting and temperature holding furnace, lead conveying pipes adopt close system controlling. So it is safe and environment friendly. Advanced full digital type temperature controlling instrument has precise and visualized in indicating and control. Operating for the machine is simple, convenient and with low technology. Usually speaking, there only need two operating workers for this machine. So the producing cost is also low.
2.1 Constant Temperature
Melted lead in lead melting furnace is guided into extruding sleeve through lead convey pipe. Then finished products are extruded out through die seat. In the whole process, lead temperature in each area keeps at a constant value. Temperature can be controlled in the range of ±3
ºC.
If melted lead temperature difference in extruding process is much bigger, changes of thickness of lead tube will be much bigger. Usually, each difference of 10
ºC can lead thickness difference of 0.1mm of lead layer. Temperature difference of intermittent type lead extruder in its whole process can reach to 30
ºC-40
ºC.
2.2 Constant Pressure
Because screw rotating speed is constant, melted lead temperature is constant, so extruding pressure in extruding process is also constant. This ensures lead cover's thickness is equal. However, intermittent lead extruder's extruding pressure is periodic. Pressure increases to the maximum from zero. So the whole cable's lead cover is not equal but changes periodicly.
2.3 Constant Speed
Pressure's periodic changes in producing process of intermittent type lead extruder lead its extruding speed to change periodically. Temperature of die mouth also changes because of the changes of pressure and speed, resulting in changes of the thickness of lead layer. When adjust to the minimum value, you can save lead consumption largely.
3. Working object of Equipment
This machine is used to continuously extrude industrial pure lead or alloy lead(namely, Pb-Sb- Cu alloy). In addition, because of the limitation of this equipment structure and using technology, so extruding technology is different from intermittent lead extruder. So content of Sb is not allowed to exceed 0.6%.
