1. Application and Features
This production line is used to produce glossy copper rod in diameter 8mm by means of continuous casting and rolling. Cathode copper or red copper scraps are used as feedstock.
The features of the production line are continuous casting and rolling process. There is no interruption from melting of raw material, casting process, rolling process and delivery of product, and it has high efficiency due to automatic control throughout the entire process. The rod complies with the relevant standards for the wire & cable industry.

Authorized by the International Technical Committee of Standardization for Electrical Machinery Equipment, Dongjiagang chaired the formulation of national standard General Technical Requirements of Electrical Equipment and standard code GB/T23644-2009, which has already been put into promulgation and implementation. What's more, Dongjiagang also participated in the formulation of Detection Method of Wire & Cable Specialized Equipment. And Dongjiagang's chairing the formulation of Technical Requirements of Wire & Cable Equipment this year has been put onto the schedule of the National Standard Authorities.
