MS's petroleum drilling tools include drill collar, heavy weight drill pipe, stabilizer, kelly, non-magnetic stabilizer, non-magnetic drill pipe, etc.
Steel drilling tools are made from AISI 4145H or AISI 4145H MOD alloy steel. After quenching and tempering trough 20 meters horizontal intermedium frequency heat-treatment line or 10 meters pit type quenching and tempering furnace, specimen are taken from one inch beneath the outer surface from both ends of each bar. Hardness can reach BHN285-341, impact value above 54 joules and other mechanical properties conform to API SPEC 7-1.
For non-magnetic steel, from steel making, foring, Machining, inspecting and testing, MS's produces the non-magnetic drilling tools all by ourself and supervises the whole process very rigidly. The superior performances of MS's non-magnetic steel have been well approved by our customers all over the world.
MS's each product can be treaceable. Upon receipt of raw material, MS's QC workers will die-stamp the exclusive serial number on both ends of the material. Then after each producing process, QC department will perform inspection, and they will record the inspection result and keep the record according to the requirements of QMS.
