These induction systems are used for brazing, soldering, curing, melting, heat treating, shrink fitting, heat staking, sealing metal to glass, and many other industrial and research applications. The RF induction heating power supply produces a magnetic field around the workpiece by sending an alternating current through the induction coil. When the workpiece is placed in the coil, the magnetic field induces eddy currents in the workpiece, generating precise amounts of clean, localized heat without any physical contact between the coil and workpiece.
Advantages over resistance brazing:
1, Rapid brazing, only 1--8 seconds are needed for one tip;
2, Good repeatability to ensure the quality of every tip;
3, By rapid and even heating, break and poor quality of the tip is prevented;
4, High quality and high hardness saw can be produced by induction brazing;
Agile tuning lets you move between discrete and continuous heating operations without time-consuming change-overs or complicated setups. A broad frequency range means one system can supply deep, bulk heating for brazing and soldering or for more shallow, concentrated heating for case-hardening or for smaller parts. Flameless, non-contact heating minimizes waste by focusing energy only on the zone to be heated.
