The equipment is used to product slab, billet and small billet. Pouring the molten steel produced by converter or electric furnace into the mould continually as the raw material of the steel. The equipment is normally called continuous caster machine or CCM.
At present our institute has rolling dept., forge and press dept., metallurgy dept., and the rolling dept. Including the research room of plate facility, figured iron facility, bar and wire facility and surface-treated facility(pickling and alkai cleaning). Besides, our institute has a competitive team which is combined with the old, the middle-aged and the young.
In our institute, most of technical backbone are graduated from the original Dongbei Heavy Machinery College Pressure Processing Dept. (The predecessor of Yanshan University) and own strong technical ability. Meanwhile, there're many experienced experts in our institute, so we can design, develop, install and debug the projects for metallurgy, forging and rolling equipments home and aboard.
