Nickel Silicon Chromium Copper Alloy is used when a combination fo very
good mechanical strength along with moderate electrical and thermal
conductivity are required. It is heat treatable copper alloy.
Typical uses of C18000 includes : Resistance welding tips/wheels and fixtures
stud welding collets and tips, sprue bushings, cavities for injection molds,
hot runner systems for injection moulds, wlding dies for wire and falsh,
blow pins, pinch offs, core and ejector pins for injection moulds, plunger
tips for metal die casting machines, heat sink inserts in steel plastict moulds.
